to get started, I thought it'd be appropriate to share some peculiar facts about myself. After all, who is behind the keyboard?

• Currently, I am 37 weeks & 3 days pregnant with our first daughter, Delaney Vaughn. I find it hard to describe my feelings about her.. about this experience. I'm not an overly religious person, but the fact that this little angel was given to US is something I will never quite understand. You know, you like to think you're a genuinely good person, but how does one become so deserving of such a gift? I will never know the answer, but I couldn't be more thankful. Truly thankful...
• My husband & I are high school sweethearts. We met my junior year in High School, and have been together for about 7.5 years now. We got engaged in Time Square in NYC upon the first few minutes into 2010. We were married nearly 3 years later on October 6, 2012. 
• I'm obsessed with school. I was never good at sports. Or crafts. Or anything else...and heck, my grades weren't THAT good. But after I got into the hang of college at Michigan State, I became obsessed with the challenge and the push to be the best. Earn the best. That's why I chose to continue on and earn my Master's Degree at Gonzaga University (Graduate May 9th, 2014). Next up? I'd love to get my PhD, but....that costs money. And lots of it.
• I wish I could sing. I sang for 7 years in school, but never really well. It's such a talent that I'm totally jealous of anyone who has it..
• I love onions. I eat them on everything, and a whole lot of em'
• White is my favorite color. It's clean, goes with anything, and makes you look tan..
• Coffee icecream is my favorite flavor, tiramisu is my all time favorite dessert.
• I didn't discover I liked to cook until I moved out on my own. Had I known this before I went to college, I have a strong feeling I would have went to culinary school...
• I know everyone says it, but my friends and family are the bomb.com. FOR real.
